The multiplayer server now has 2G of memory, with the program abe to use 1.2G of it. Before it only had 0.5G of memory. Hopefully this will speed up the server and cause less problems for players.

Just a note about Meebo.com, I know many people use their IM system. A few months ago they had a game system and asked for Artillery Live and Tactics 100 to be included. They asked me to reprogram my game to work with their new system it took me about 2 weeks and I had many long phone meetings with their staff. I was one of the first to finish a game for their system.
Anyway they didn't pay a single dime for all that work, not even in advertising. Plus they used my own server to host the SWF and multiplayer. Then a few months later, when I started to move servers, I checked and they didn't even tell me they stopped using the games. So I wasted hours of work and meetings, hosting of my servers, and I got nothing from it. Rant over, back to Artillery!

All hiscores have been reset. New rules, no limit on combos, but when you join a team game, you cannot join as an enemy from the same computer. This is to prevent score cheats. Good luck getting your hiscores for REAL this time :)

Once again today I have made more changes to the server, if you have an older version of the game it will completely not work. I cleaned up much of the network traffic, hopefully I have killed some of the greatest bugs.
1) Dead players still alive and chatting
2) Game starting with a blank screen
3) Lag disconnects, I gave extra second leeway
Anyway let me know if you see problems!! ARRGG!!

RELOAD UR PAGE AND MAKE SURE ITS V3.31 OR IT WON'T WORK!!!
Ok it might be fixed. The reason was that all 4 player's movements were sent separately, so they might reach you unsorted. I put everyone's move in one packet so they will always be in the right order and everyone's game will stay in synch. Make sense? Ok nevermind.

UPDATE: I decided to make the tank controls WASD. So A is left, S is abort move, D is right, W is fire, like it looks on the screen. CONTROL still fires if you want it. And as always arrows keys adjust the targetting. Thanks!

A lot of people asked for this. A and D move your tank. I made S fire, but maybe it should be to abort the move. Versions on Kongregate and Newgrounds have been updated. But Newgrounds will take a while. Let me know if you find problems!

Hi if anyone finds something weird with the game please let me know. I think I have finally stabilized the software and their are no bugs. This software is supposed to support many connections so I will spread the game even further to get you more players to shoot at!

Ok this is a small change, but it will be nice for many players. In the "Private Team" screen you can now join another user even if they are playing a game. It will try to join them as an ally, but if the spot is taken you will be an enemy of them. You can also type in the name of the game like "Game-123" to join the game in any spot.
Is this cool?

You can now chat in other languages, put in special characters like Greek, Chinese and Thai. Try them all.
Also there will no longer be a ban for chatting too quickly because in the game there is a 2 second delay before you can type again. Repeating the same chat will also be fixed.

Just a little bug where the menu doesn't show write on Mac Safari was fixed. Note to developers: NEVER use the horizontal letter spacing in Flash, the whole text doesn't show up in Safari.

UPDATE: It's all moved over but there was some serious DNS issues that should also clear up in a few days!
Because of crappy server issues I moved providers and trying a new one, it looks like it's going to work out. Should be fully moved in a few days. Thanks!

Yes, I have heard your foul words against me! Do you really have to curse? I guess so! You can now curse all you want, but it will still be starred out. There's younger kid's playing this too you know? But there's still the same other restrictions:
1) You can't type loads of long crap, like holding down the keyboard "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
2) You can't type the same stuff over and over again.
3) You can't send chat messages quickly, spamming everyone's screen.
If you do any of the above you will be banned for a half hour. But hey you can still cuss!
