Version 3.5: More fixes and changes to Knight 
I made more fixes today, problems with Sync errors should be fixed let me know if you see any, screen shots are best. Also some other minor fixes. For the Knight in order to make them a little more useful even as a meat-grinder I increased their base HP to 50 (+10), and added 1 extra damage. Hopefully people will start using some knights!

Version 3.4: Yes today even more fixes. 
I put in even more fixes today it will make sure to keep track of the score for every single move, not just every turn. This will ensure you get the right result. Let me know if any problems. If you can't get it to refresh just play on Gamebrew.

Yet more minor fixes thanks Dr. Death! 
Thanks to Steve (Dr.Death) for sending a screenshot of this one. The enemy quit while the score was even and it was undecided. You should always get a win and the enemy loss when the enemy hits quit, unless the enemy was winning then its undecided. I think most of the fixes are cleaned up and done. Game seems more stable. Does anyone want to reset all the LIVE hiscores?

Side note the single player was broken for a day, its fixed now too.

Just a note about Meebo.com 
Just a note about Meebo.com, I know many people use their IM system. A few months ago they had a game system and asked for Artillery Live and Tactics 100 to be included. They asked me to reprogram my game to work with their new system it took me about 2 weeks and I had many long phone meetings with their staff. I was one of the first to finish a game for their system.

Anyway they didn't pay a single dime for all that work, not even in advertising. Plus they used my own server to host the SWF and multiplayer. Then a few months later, when I started to move servers, I checked and they didn't even tell me they stopped using the games. So I wasted hours of work and meetings, hosting of my servers, and I got nothing from it. Rant over, back to Tactics 100!

Version 3.3: Game win results issue fixed? 
There were problems with deciding who won in the end. Thanks to HorriblyConfused for the screenshots. I think there still is a lag issue, please let me know if there seconds left and whose turn it was when it lagged. So match results should always be correct now, make sure the game version is 3.3! Reload your browser page. Thanks for your help!

IF YOU DON'T REFRESH TO V3.3 YOU WILL GET SYNC ERRORS!!!

Version 3.2: Quit button cleanly exits with reason. 
For a long time the quit button just straight disconnected and went to the main menu. Now if you click it, it will tell you what happened. You can NEVER win if you press quit, if you're up when you press quit it won't count it as a defeat and won't give a win to your eneny. But if the scores or equal or less, then you lost and the enemy won. I also cleaned up the reason why things happened in the win/lose decription. Finally I added more time to the lag. If you still have problems let me know.

ANNOUNCEMENT: New Rule Any DISCONNECT/LAG is a WIN!! 
New rules, any lag or disconnect anytime is a win for you! UNLESS they had a higher score than you and left. If your score is greater than or equal to theirs you WIN, even if its the first round and they saw your army config and left. I'll see how this goes!!

ANNOUNCEMENT: New Changes to Scoring System + Server 
We moved the game to a new server, why? To support more players, and allow people in firewalls to play (http tunnelling). We changed the live scoring rules why? People cheat like crazy, this will prevent or slow down cheating dramatically, how? First you must be a member and play on Gamebrew (sorry!).

Score = (wins*10) - (loss*5)

1) Everyone gets one world wide ranking #.
2) Gamebrew members can still play against non-members for points.
3) Matches from same IP address don't count (considered practice).
4) Every match is tracked by IP address or Gamebrew member ID.
5) You can rematch anyone, but it will overwrite previous results.
6) No more disconnects, you either win, lose or nothing.
7) The person who disconnects can NEVER win.
8) Private games count now, but rules above still apply.

If the person decides to leave in the middle of the game and they are down by even 1 point, its a loss for them and a win for you. If they leave and they are winning, they DO NOT win, but it's still a loss for you. If the score is exactly even, then nothing happens. If you don't like the results just do a private game and rematch. Hopefully this will make the game easier and more enjoyable. And it'll be fun to see how you rank against the world. We are still working on it so PLEASE let me know if any problems.

Tactics 100 Moving to a New Server, Need Ideas! 
I'm going to begin to reprogram the server side. I have a few ideas to stop cheaters but it will probably make the game less fun. Here it goes, please tell me which ideas you like best.

IDEA #1
There will be no points or score awarded in LIVE. This stops the incentive to cheat (or play!?). You will begin the game by picking how good you are NEWBIE, ADVANCED or EXPERT. Whoever picked the same skill level is the one you'll be paired with.

IDEA #2
Along with number #1, players have the option of creating an account which will keep score in a database by matching your account with every single unique IP address you've played against and whether you won or lost. This will stop most cheating.

Leave things the way they are!

New features coming tomorrow (Saturday 1/19) 
Some most requested features and bug fixes, coming tomorrow. Hope they all work out, please let me know if any problems. I'm sure the disconnect ban will piss people off. Special thanks to Mike for detailed bug reports.

1) Chat bug fixed, still not 100% sure. When you hit Enter it would hilight the text and mess up. I haven't been able to reproduce this but I made some fixes to prevent something like this.

2) Fixed bug where the ending game screen would appear over the main menu.

3) If it's your turn and the enemy leaves you can finish your turn and take out more pieces and you still might win.

4) Disconnect ban, if it's a public game (not made using private game) and you leave the game before the game ends you will suffer a 3 minute ban from the entire server.

Trying to get some new features out this week ... 
I know many of you have been pleading for changes for many months, so I will try to get them done this week. Always busy with stuff. I will try to get some minor fixes done. On thing I will do is ban a user from playing for 3-5 minutes if they disconnect from a game.
